This handmade statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is crafted by skilled Nepali artisans, showcasing the beauty of traditional workmanship. The piece stands at 13.2”/33.5 cm in height with a 10.2”/26 cm base, and weighs 5 kg, making it a strong and balanced artwork. It is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted with an ushnisha, symbolizing his enlightened wisdom, and an urna, representing spiritual insight. His right hand touches the earth in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, calling the world to witness his awakening. The elongated earlobes remind us of his royal past and his choice to renounce worldly life, completing the serene expression of the awakened teacher.

Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhism. He was born around the 5th–6th century BCE in Lumbini, which is in present-day Nepal. Born as a prince, Siddhartha lived in luxury but became deeply moved by seeing old age, sickness, and death. This led him to renounce his royal life in search of a path to end suffering.

Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Each piece is created with great care and devotion. However, if for any reason you need to return your item, we're here to help.

1. If you're not fully satisfied, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition. Once we receive the item back, we will process your refund.

2. In Case of Customs Return, where the package is returned to us from customs due to incomplete documentation, unresponsiveness, or refusal to accept the parcel by the receiver, we will deduct certain percentage of the order value to cover the international shipping and handling costs.
