Crafted from copper and adorned with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paintings, it reflects the exceptional skill of Nepali artisans. In this depiction, Shakyamuni Buddha holds an alms bowl in his right hand, symbolizing renunciation and the sustenance of the spiritual path, while his left hand touches the earth in the Bhumisparsha mudra, calling the Earth to witness his enlightenment. He is seated in padmasana (lotus posture) atop a lotus base, representing purity, spiritual awakening, and the blossoming of enlightenment amidst the world.
