Shri Devi is depicted with ferocious teeth gnawing on a human corpse, her three bloodshot eyes staring intensely. Her body is covered with ashes, fat, and blood, surrounded by a flame halo, symbolizing her presence in a charnel ground.
In her right hand, she holds a sandalwood club topped with a vajra, symbolizing protection and integrity. Her left hand carries a blood-filled skull, representing the destruction of ego. She sits on a khyang, an untrainable mule, signifying her power over fear.
Her attire includes a black silk scarf, a human skin shawl, and a tiger skin belt held by intertwined snakes. Her neck is adorned with a necklace of decapitated heads, and she wears a five-skull crown and bone ornaments. The reins of the mule are made of venomous snakes, and a pouch with dice and a magic ball symbolizes her divinatory power. A red tablet and a sack of diseases, tied to her mount or tucked into her belt, further emphasize her protective and purifying role.
