Hand Carved Statue of Siddartha Gautama Buddha
We have finely hand carved the statue of Siddartha Gautama Buddha in traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. We are the artist of Kathmandu valley whose artisan has passed through generation, reflecting Buddhism. We have depicted a deity seated on a top of a moon disc lotus seat with peaceful expression, holding an alms bowl with his left hand while his right hand is in an earth touching mudra. We assure you that we have used high quality of materials in this statue which will endure for many years without damage or scratches. The design of robe, lotus and other essentials are sculpted in traditional ancient style which are mesmerizing.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
