Description

Gold Glided Himalayan Siddhartha Gautama Art

We have exclusively hand-carved the Siddhartha Gautama Art in the traditional Himalayan Art style of Nepal. The deity is depicted seated in a vajra stance on a multicolored lotus seat with a serene and peaceful expression. The body is molded using copper. Intricate design patterns are hand craved on the statue. The halo is adorned with precious turquoise and corals. The figurine is glided with 24K pure gold. Later it is painted using acrylic paintings. It took us months and months of dedication for the completion of the statue. We assure you that the materials used in this artwork are of the highest quality and will last for many years.

This indoor art of the Himalayan will be a tremendous meditating gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
