24k Gold Gilded Hand-carved Siddhartha Gautama Buddha Sculpture
Using traditional Himalayan craftsmanship, the Buddha Shakyamuni sculpture was entirely hand-carved in Nepal. The figure was made from a copper body and gilded with real 24k gold. The deity sits upon a moon disc lotus with his left hand holding an alms bowl, and his right hand slightly touches the ground beneath him. We've utilized acrylic paints to contrast the layer of gold. The color scheme brings out all of the statue's intricate details. You can use this figurine for different Buddhist Rituals and meditational practices, and it will be the perfect gift for a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
