Description

A Spiritual Sage Shakyamuni Buddha Copper Statue Radiating Profound Peace

This Spiritual Sage Shakyamuni Buddha Copper Statue measures 13 inches (33 cm) in height, rests upon a 10-inch (25 cm) base, and weighs 3.69 kg. The sculpture is formed from a copper body and enriched with radiant 24K gold gilding and acrylic painting. The gold finish illuminates the Buddha’s peaceful face, monastic robes, hands, and layered lotus throne, while carefully applied color defines the facial features and adds depth to the robe and pedestal details. Its dignified proportions make it a meaningful focal point for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, Dharma center, or sacred art collection.

Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha Siddhartha Gautama, is traditionally portrayed seated in vajra posture upon a lotus throne, signifying purity and unwavering meditative stability. His right hand extends downward in Bhumisparsha Mudra, the earth-touching gesture that recalls the moment he called the earth to witness his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. His left hand rests in his lap in Dhyana Mudra, holding an alms bowl as a symbol of renunciation, contentment, and disciplined spiritual practice. The calm expression and simple monastic robes reflect his realization of the path beyond suffering and his teachings on wisdom, compassion, and inner awakening.
