Buddhist Statue of Standing Buddha Shakyamuni
We have magnificently hand-carved the statue of standing Shakyamuni Buddha in a traditional Himalayan style in Nepal. It took more than a month for us to sculpt this sculpture as we have exquisitely crafted it in a pure copper body, gilded it with genuine 24k gold, and finely hand-painted with acrylic colors. We have depicted a deity standing on top of a moon disc lotus seat with a peaceful expression. The meticulously gold plated halo adorned with precious turquoise and corals illuminates his face. We have elegantly designed and deft the lotus seat and embellished it with valuable gemstones.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
