Golden Statue of Buddhist Master Milarepa

This handcrafted statue depicts a serene yogi in deep meditation, created by skilled Nepali artisans with exquisite attention to detail. Covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding and carved with deeply engraved details that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect, the sculpture is further enhanced with delicate acrylic paintings. The figure is seated on a pedestal with a deer-skin mat, adding authenticity and a touch of natural elegance to altars or meditation spaces.

Iconographically, the figure’s right hand is cupped to his ear, symbolizing attentive listening and deep awareness, while the left hand holds an alms bowl, reflecting renunciation and simplicity. The pale body signifies calmness, purity, and spiritual focus, capturing the essence of a dedicated meditative practitioner.

At Termatree, every statue is handcrafted by skilled artisans, making each statue a truly one-of-a-kind work of art. Because each statue is made by hand, minor variations and imperfections are a natural part of the craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.

To ensure complete transparency, we photograph every statue under professional studio lighting without concealing its unique characteristics or minor imperfections. Please note that the appearance of the statue may vary slightly under natural or different indoor lighting conditions due to differences in light intensity, color temperature, and the surrounding environment.

If you would like to see the statue under natural lightning before making your purchase, we are happy to provide additional photos and videos upon request. Our goal is to present every statue as honestly as possible so you can purchase with complete confidence.
