Palden Lhamo (Tibetan: dPal ldan Lha mo), meaning 'Glorious Goddess', is one of the eight Dharma Protectors (Dharmapalas) of Tibetan Buddhism and the only female among them. She is revered as a fierce protector of the Gelug tradition, the Dalai Lamas, and the city of Lhasa.
