This impressive Green Tara statue stands 25.8" (65.5 cm) tall, with a base width of 17.9" (45.5 cm) and a weight of 20.57 kg. It is expertly crafted from copper with an antique finish, gilded with a triple layer of 24K gold, and intricately carved with deeply engraved designs that create a spectacular 3D effect. Green Tara, also known as Shyama Tara, is one of the most widely revered female deities in Tibetan Buddhism. She is considered the embodiment of compassion (karuṇā) and enlightened activity, dedicated to helping sentient beings swiftly overcome obstacles, fears, and suffering.
