Guru Tsokye Dorje, also known as Guru Padmasambhava in his Lotus-Born Form, is a revered tantric master and one of the eight manifestations (tshogs sku) of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) in Vajrayana Buddhism. He embodies the union of wisdom and compassion, having been born spontaneously from a lotus flower in Lake Dhanakosha, fulfilling a prophecy of Shantarakshita. Known for his profound realization and miraculous abilities, Guru Tsokye Dorje is closely associated with the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, where he is honored as a great teacher and dharma protector. His teachings and blessings continue to inspire practitioners on the path to enlightenment, particularly within the Tibetan and Himalayan spiritual contexts.
