It features a copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. Green Tara is depicted seated on a lotus throne, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. Her relaxed pose, known as lalitasana or “royal ease,” features her right leg extended and left leg folded, conveying both meditative calm and her readiness to act in service of sentient beings. Her right hand reaches downward, holding the stem of a lotus flower that rises beside her shoulder, representing wisdom and compassion. Her left hand, raised to her heart in the vitarka mudra, signifies teaching and intellectual discourse. A five-pointed crown rests upon her head, symbolizing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, while her elaborate jewelry and ornaments reflect her divine grace and enlightened nature.
