This Golden Statue of Yuthok Yonten Gonpo, the revered Tibetan physician and spiritual master known as the Father of Tibetan Medicine, reflects both healing and wisdom. Expertly crafted from a copper body with 24K gold gilding and adorned with fine gold and acrylic paintings, the piece embodies the artistry of skilled Nepali craftsmen. In his iconography, Yuthok Yonten Gonpo is depicted seated in padmasana, symbolizing meditative stability. His left hand cradles a utpala, which holds a kapala, reflecting spiritual power and transformation.
