Description

Hand-Carved Green Tara Female Buddha Sculpture

The Green Tara Female Buddha Sculpture was expertly hand-carved in our workshop by Nepalese artisans utilizing age-old methods. The statue's distinctive design patterns were highlighted using a copper body for the sculpture, 24-karat pure gold gilding, and delicate acrylic painting. While doing the Surya mudra with her left hand extended and the Gyan mudra with her right hand resting on her knee, the deity is depicted seated on a moon disc lotus. The halo behind it shines light onto the face, and the nimbus illuminates her body. The crown and the body ornaments are adorned with valuable gemstones. The nimbus has magnificent hand-carved designs. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area.

This sculpture of Green Tara will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Green Tara is the manifestation from whence all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she is the embodiment of enlightened love and compassion.
