Gracing any sacred space with its profound presence, this exquisite teacher of the dharma guru rinpoche statue embodies the enlightened wisdom of Padmasambhava. Meticulously crafted from an oxidised copper body and richly 24K gold gilded, this 23cm tall figure radiates a serene yet powerful spiritual aura. Its detailed artistry, standing gracefully on a lotus base, invites deep contemplation and reverence, making it a focal point for any devotee.

Guru Rinpoche is represented sitting in a royal posture, presenting confidence and spiritual mastery. His right hand holds a vajra, which represents indestructible power, while his left hand holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with the nectar of wisdom. The khatvanga, a trident ornamented with symbolic components reflecting his tantric attainment and the union of wisdom and compassion, rests on his left shoulder.

Guru Rinpoche, whose name means 'Precious Master', is universally recognised as the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. An illustrious Indian Buddhist master of the 8th century, he journeyed to Tibet at the invitation of King Trisong Detsen. There, he successfully subdued local deities and demonic forces, transforming them into protectors of the Dharma, and played a crucial role in establishing Samye, the first monastery in Tibet, while transmitting countless profound tantric teachings and hidden treasures (terma). He remains a central and highly revered figure across all traditions, especially within the Nyingma school.
