Handcrafted The Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture Art
We, the artist of Nepal, have traditionally handcrafted The Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture with flawless design. Carved from a copper body and coated with 24k genuine gold, which symbolizes knowledge, enlightenment, purity, happiness, and freedom. The statue was further polished to provide a more realistic touch to the deity. His left hand is holding up an alms bowl while his right hand is doing the earth-touching mudra as he is seated on a moon disc lotus with a serene smile. The Kasaya robes that he wears are detailed with intricate design patterns.
This exquisitely hand carved statue will be a great gift for a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
