Traditional Sculpture of The Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture
The Shakyamuni Buddha sculpture is traditionally hand-sculpted utilizing real 24 karat gold and a body made of pure copper. We are the artist of Kathmandu valley whose artisan has passed from generation to generation, reflecting Buddhism. We have meticulously hand-painted this statue with acrylic color, which is captivating. We have portrayed a deity sitting on top of a moon disc lotus seat, holding an alms bowl with his left hand while his right hand is in an earth-touching mudra. The gold-plated halo illuminates his face while the exquisitely crafted and designed robe engulfs his presence. This art of Himalayan will be a tremendous meditational gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
