Tibetan Buddhist Icon Manjushri Statue standing at 10.2” (26 cm) in height with a base measuring 8.9” (22.5 cm), weighs 1.88 kg, and is meticulously handcrafted from oxidized copper and 24K gold gilded finish. Flaming Sword, held in his right hand and resting on a lotus stem, represents the cutting through of ignorance and obstacles to wisdom. In his left hand, he has a lotus upon which rests the Prajnaparamita Sutra, symbolizing the teachings of ultimate wisdom and emptiness. Depicted as seated in the vajra posture (legs crossed), signifying stability and strength in meditation. The mudra White Manjushri is displayed in the 'Dharmachakra mudra. It is the gesture of teaching and intellectual discussion, which is achieved by joining the tips of the thumb and index finger together while the other fingers point upwards.
