Naropa and Tilopa Sacred Statue Collection is a finely handcrafted Buddhist sculpture created by skilled Nepali artisans, measuring 8.27 inches (21cm) in height with a 7.3 inches (18.5cm) base and weighing 3.83 kg. Crafted from an oxidized copper body, this sacred sculpture reflects the traditional artistry and refined techniques of Himalayan metal craftsmanship. Its antique finish, detailed carvings, and meaningful composition make it a valuable centerpiece for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, monasteries, or spiritual collections.
The sculpture depicts Tilopa and Naropa, two of the most revered masters in the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Tilopa, the great Indian Mahasiddha, is regarded as the source of the profound Mahamudra teachings, which were later transmitted to his foremost disciple Naropa. Naropa, a renowned scholar and accomplished yogi, received these teachings through his transformative spiritual journey and passed them onward to Marpa Lotsawa, forming an unbroken lineage that continues to inspire practitioners today. The figures are portrayed as realized masters, representing deep meditation, direct realization, and the transmission of enlightened wisdom. Their peaceful expressions, traditional robes, meditation postures, and finely carved details reflect the devotion and craftsmanship of Himalayan artisans. The oxidized copper body
