Description

Tibetan Goddess Green Tara Statue For Prayer

This exquisitely made statue is the culmination of months of manual hard work on the Tibetan Goddess Green Tara Statue. Her body jewelry, including her crown, is superbly carved and decorated with turquoise and corals. Using copper as a mold, we hand-carved various components onto the body and gilded it using 24K genuine gold. Acrylic paint is used to paint the deity's body. We applied a combination of different colors. This provides a precise iconographic representation of the deity. The robe also has elaborate patterning. A hammer and tiny chisels were used to carve each one of those manually. Artists must have years of skill since delicate carvings require them to carve out elaborate designs on a small surface. We are experienced Nepalese artisans whose trade has been handed down through the years. The statue weighs about 9.48 kg, which took us months and months of hard work.

This figurine of Mother Green Tara will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Green Tara is the manifestation from whence all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she embodies enlightened love and compassion. Her Mantra is " OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA".
In short, “om Tara Tuttare Ture Soha” means “I prostrate to the Liberator, Mother of all the Victorious Ones.
