Bejeweled Tibetan Shakyamuni Buddha for Spiritual Guidance
This exquisite piece of Tibetan Shakyamuni Buddha sculpture employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. Full of intricately detailed carvings on the copper body, gold gilding provides an excellent sheen. In the statue, the historical Buddha is depicted sitting atop a moon disc lotus seat that is mounted over an elaborately carved and decorated throne. He holds an alms bowl in his right hand while portraying the 'Bhumisparsa Mudra,’ representing the Buddha's awakening. Acrylic paints highlight the Buddha's sublime facial expression, while his lotus seat, headpiece, and throne are bejeweled with precious colorful gemstones. Every detail has been crafted with care and precision by our artists over the course of several years, resulting in a truly magnificent work of art.
We assure you this brilliant piece's quality and longevity as only the best materials were used. It is a perfect souvenir for any devotee like yourself, can be used for Buddhist rituals, and is a great addition to your Altar.

Shakyamuni lived to be eighty years old when he died. He remained at Gridhrakta (Eagle Peak) near Rajagriha the year before his death. Then he embarked on his final voyage, crossing the Ganges River northward to Vaishali. During the rainy season, he stayed in Beluva, a village near Vaishali. He became very ill during this retreat, but he recovered and continued to preach in numerous communities. He eventually arrived in Malla at a location known as Pava. After eating a meal provided as a gift by the local blacksmith, Chunda, he felt ill. Despite his anguish, he continued on his trek until he arrived in Kushinagar, where he laid down in a grove of sal trees and spoke his final words.
