A Majestic Tibetan Six-Armed Mahakala Figurine for Profound Protection

Arising from a vibrant flame aureole, this powerful Tibetan six-armed mahakala figurine embodies fierce protection and unwavering commitment to dharma. Masterfully handcrafted in Nepal by lineage artisans, its substantial copper form, standing 48cm tall with a 41cm base, commands a revered presence. This exquisite piece of spiritual decor radiates a profound, dynamic energy, meticulously crafted for discerning collectors and serious practitioners.

The robust copper body of this Mahakala is meticulously shaped and detailed by Kathmandu Newar artisans, renowned for their multi-generational Himalayan craftsmanship. It features traditional gold colouring, carefully applied, complemented by vibrant acrylic paintings that accentuate the deity's wrathful features and the dynamic flame aureole. Intricate gemstone inlay gracefully adorns the crown and various sacred ornaments, while fine chasing and engraving add profound textural depth to the robes and attributes. This meticulous process ensures a piece of lasting heritage and powerful spiritual significance.

The deity is depicted standing atop a sun disc lotus seat over a human figure, representing the triumph of good over evil. He is shown to have four arms, each of which holds an item symbolic of the deity's divinity, such as a curved knife, a damaru, a trident, a skull vase, and a hatchet. It is a beautiful piece made by our artists after months of hard work, and the addition of jewels to the statue only beautifies the statue more.

Mahakala, meaning 'Great Black One', is a wrathful emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. He serves as a Dharma Protector in Tibetan Buddhism, safeguarding practitioners from obstacles, delusions, and negative influences. Depicted in various forms, the Six-Armed Mahakala is particularly associated with the Shangpa Kagyu and Gelug traditions, embodying swift action and the vanquishing of inner and outer impediments to spiritual progress.
