Handmade Vajrapani Art, Divine Protector of the Buddha | Tantric Guardian

This Vajrapani Art, Divine Protector of the Buddha, represents the mighty Bodhisattva who embodies all Buddhas' power. This sculpture, which measures 10" (Height) x 7.7" (Base) and weighs 2.10 kg, is handcrafted from copper, covered with a 24K gold gilding. This sculpture, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

The wrathful face emphasizes his fierce protective nature, while the serene back face reveals his compassionate essence. Vajrapani holds a vajra (thunderbolt scepter) in his right hand, symbolizing indestructible strength and spiritual power. In his left hand, he holds a lasso, representing his ability to bind and remove harmful forces. A third eye of wisdom on his forehead signifies his ability to see through illusion and gain ultimate knowledge. Depicted in alidhasana (dynamic posture), he stands firmly on a subdued evil force, symbolizing his triumph over ignorance and negativity. His crown, adorned with five skulls, represents the transformation of the five poisons (ignorance, attachment, aversion, pride, jealousy) into wisdom. The halo behind him is adorned with conch shells, symbolizing the spread of the Dharma, and features three eyes, signifying his all-seeing awareness.
