Description

Handcrafted Vajrapani Statue | Copper Body with Gold and Acrylic Detail

Handcrafted Vajrapani Statue measures 8”/20.5cm in height with a 6”/15cm base and weighs 1.07 kg. Crafted in Nepal by skilled artisans, it features a copper body finished with gold and acrylic painting. The gold detailing highlights the sculpted form and ornamental elements, while the carefully applied acrylic painting adds color and definition to the facial features, garments, and decorative details. The combination of traditional copper craftsmanship, gold detailing, and hand-applied painting gives the sculpture a refined and distinctive handcrafted character.

Vajrapani is portrayed in a powerful wrathful form, embodying the strength, energy, and protective force of enlightened wisdom. His dynamic posture and fierce expression convey the force required to overcome ignorance and spiritual obstacles, while his right hand holds a vajra symbolizing indestructible awakened power and his left hand grasps a lasso representing the ability to restrain and overcome negative forces. His flowing hair, intense gaze, and strong physical form emphasize his dynamic presence, while the crown, necklaces, bracelets, and other ornaments enrich his appearance. Flowing garments and scarves further emphasize movement, and the surrounding flames symbolize the transformative energy of enlightened activity. As a protector of the Dharma, this form represents courage, determination, strength, and the power to overcome obstacles on the path to awakening.
