This Handmade Vajrapani Statue, also known as the Bodhisattva of Protection, stands at 12.8”/32.5cm in height and 10.2”/26cm at the base, weighing 3.27 kg. Made from copper with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paintings, it reflects exquisite craftsmanship. Vajrapani is depicted in a dynamic dancing posture, symbolizing the active destruction of ignorance and the protection of practitioners on the path to enlightenment. His wrathful expression reflects the fierce compassion with which he removes obstacles and protects the Dharma. In his right hand, he holds a vajra, representing indestructible spiritual power, while his left hand wields a lasso, used to bind and subdue harmful forces. Adorned with a five-skull crown, he embodies the transformation of the five poisons into wisdom. Encircled by a radiant halo that signifies his enlightened energy, Vajrapani stands firmly atop a sun disc lotus base, representing purity and the illumination of wisdom.
