The Protector of All Buddha, Vajrapani Statue, stands at 8.7 inches (22 cm) in height with a base width of 6.1 inches (15.5 cm), weighing 1.29 kilograms. Expertly handcrafted from a copper body, it is adorned with 24K gold gilding, detailed gold and acrylic paintings. This finely detailed sculpture captures the fierce and protective nature of Vajrapani, the Bodhisattva of Power and Guardian of the Buddha's teachings.
Vajrapani is depicted in a dynamic dancing posture, holding the vajra in his right hand, symbolizing unbreakable power, and the lasso in his left, used to bind and subdue harmful forces. His wrathful expression, complemented by three eyes, signifies his all-seeing awareness and ability to overcome obstacles. He is surrounded by a blazing halo, representing the transformative fire of wisdom that burns away ignorance. The base, crafted in the shape of a sun disc lotus, enhances the sense of movement and divine energy, with intricately carved motifs that highlight the artisan’s skill and dedication.
