Fine Handmade Vajrasattva Gold Statue of Nepal
Vajrasattva Gold Statue, Tibetan - Dorje Sempa was expertly hand-carved in our studio by Nepal's master craftsmen, a centuries-old Buddhist Himalayan craft of creating sacred sculptures. The statue is carved from a copper body and gilded with 24k genuine gold and acrylic paint to highlight the intricate design patterns. The deity is shown seated on the top of a moon disc lotus seat, with a serene expression on her face. In his right hand, he holds a vajra, and in his left, a bell. We worked for months to carve the copper body and embellish it with precious corals and gems.
As a Nepalese gift, this statue would make an excellent shrine for your meditation practice.

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
