Description

Vajrasattva Golden Statue Adorned with Gemstones for Purification and Meditation

This Vajrasattva Golden Statue Adorned with Gemstones stands 14.5 inches (37 cm) high upon a 10.2-inch (26 cm) base and weighs 3.68 kg. Meticulously handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, the sculpture features a copper body enriched with radiant 24K gold gilding, detailed acrylic painting, and carefully placed gemstones. The luminous gold finish emphasizes the graceful contours of Vajrasattva’s form, while the painted accents and colorful stones bring greater definition to his crown, jewelry, flowing scarves, garments, and sacred implements. Its substantial scale, refined ornamentation, and balanced composition create a serene presence suited to a Buddhist altar, meditation room, purification shrine, or collection of Himalayan sacred sculpture.

Vajrasattva is depicted with one peaceful face and two hands, seated in the stable vajra posture upon a lotus pedestal. His right hand holds an upright vajra close to his heart, while his left hand holds an upturned ritual bell beside his hip. The vajra represents indestructible awakened method, while the bell expresses wisdom; together, they signify qualities practiced as an inseparable union in Vajrayana Buddhism. His elaborate crown, jeweled necklaces, earrings, armlets, bracelets, and flowing celestial garments establish his peaceful bodhisattva appearance. Revered as the Buddha of purification, Vajrasattva is central to practices concerned with cleansing obscurations, acknowledging harmful actions, and renewing one’s commitment to the path of awakening.
