In Tibetan Buddhism, Vajrasattva is a revered figure symbolizing purity and the removal of negativity. Often depicted in white, he holds a bell and a vajra (thunderbolt), representing the union of compassion and wisdom. Devotees engage in purification practices, such as chanting mantras and performing rituals, to eliminate obstacles and negative karma. The mantra "Om Vajrasattva Hum" plays a central role in these practices, which are believed to cleanse both the mind and spirit. Through meditation on Vajrasattva, one can achieve an understanding of one's inherent purity and enlightened nature, leading to inner transformation.
