Awakening Enlightened Energy through This Vajrayogini Sacred Sculpture

Arising from the sacred essence of the Himalayan Vajrayana tradition, this Vajrayogini sacred protector sculpture manifests an extraordinary display of wrathful compassion and enlightened energy, standing as a majestic testament to master-level Himalayan craftsmanship. Measuring 51.2”/130cm in height with a 27.2”/69cm base and weighing 28.52 kg, it is expertly sculpted from a solid copper body, richly finished with gold detailing and acrylic painting. The statue features deeply engraved carvings that create a magnificent 3D-like effect, enhancing every dynamic detail of her fierce, dancing posture. This powerful representation of the supreme dakini radiates a transformative aura of ultimate reality, making it a rare, luxurious, and deeply sacred centerpiece for spiritual contemplation, devotional spaces, and high-end collectors of Buddhist art.

She is depicted in a radiant red form, glowing like a hibiscus flower, symbolizing the transformation of desire and passion into enlightened wisdom. Appearing as a vibrant sixteen-year-old youth, she represents the freshness, vitality, and uncorrupted nature of awakened awareness. Her three eyes signify omniscient vision, perceiving the past, present, and future beyond ordinary limitations, while her flowing, unbound black hair reflects total freedom from worldly conventions and dualistic thought. In her right hand, she wields a flaying knife (drigug or kartri) marked with a vajra, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance, ego, and attachment at their root. In her left hand, she holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with blood, which she partakes of, representing the transformation of ego into blissful wisdom and the direct experience of non-dual awareness. Resting against her shoulder is the khatvanga staff, adorned with symbolic elements representing the three kayas and her tantric consort, signifying ultimate unity and non-duality.

Within the Anuttarayoga Tantra lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism, Vajrayogini is revered as the female embodiment of the cognitive aspect of enlightenment. As a principal yidam, or meditation deity, she represents the transformation of ordinary passion into transcendent wisdom, guiding practitioners swiftly toward liberation. Her fiery red form and wrathful expression symbolize dynamic enlightened energy, which cuts through deep cognitive obscurations and ego-clinging, revealing the innate purity, clarity, and luminous nature of the mind.
