In this depiction, Vajrayogini is shown in a dynamic dancing posture. Her right hand wields a kartika (ritual flaying knife), while her left hand raises a skull cup to her lips, drinking blood that represents the blissful wisdom overcoming defilements. A khatvanga staff rests against her left shoulder, symbolizing her inseparable tantric consort. She is adorned with a necklace of fifty freshly severed heads and crowned with five skulls, signifying the transformation of the five poisons into the five wisdoms.
