Description

Traditional White Tara Bodhisattva Statue for Meditation and Ritual

The venerated bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism is magnificently portrayed by this gorgeous White Tara bodhisattva statue. In the statue, the divine Tara is depicted seated in her characteristic appearance, i.e., on a moon disc lotus seat with a serene and compassionate expression. She can be seen performing the 'Varada Mudra,' a gesture of charity and compassion, with her left hand and the 'Prithvi Mudra,' with her right. She has seven eyes in total: each on her sole, her palm, and a third eye on her forehead, symbolizing the all-knowing and caring nature of White Tara.

The copper body of the statue is colored with acrylic paints giving the deity her characteristic white complexion, and has an antique finish to it. The exquisite details and rich painting of this statue, which was made with the highest care and accuracy, bring the beauty of White Tara to life.
