Buddhist Statue of Buffalo Headed Deity, Yamantaka
Yamantaka is one wrathful deity, popularly practiced by all school of Tibetan Buddhism. The large size statue depicts his unique and equally interesting iconographic details. His center main head is in fact a buffalo head, expressing his utmost wrath with open fangs, blazing eye brows and mustache.
This statue took us about 22 months to complete with the precise attributes and mudras. Upon closer look, you will see that even the tiny details are gracefully finished to precision. His multiple hand gestures, the attriubutes they hold, the bodies underneath his feets, we have paid a detailed attention to each of them to make sure that this Yamantaka is made exactly as per the meditation Sadhana explains.

Yamantaka Introduction:
Deity Yamantaka is a wrathful form of Buddhist deities. He is with a wrathful expression and 34 arms, clutching a sharp weapon. His most terrifying feature is a buffalo head with massive horns that gives the devil's appearance.
Yamantaka is so powerful that he has overcome Yama, the "Lord of Death," to reach the ultimate joy of absolute enlightenment. On the other hand, Yamantaka is a powerful tool for spiritual awakening.
Yamantaka is a violent aspect of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, who assumes this form to defeat Yama, the god of death. The cycle of rebirths (samsara) that prevents enlightenment by defeating Yama is broken.
