This Oxidized Sculpture of Female Bodhisattva White Tara stands at 14.8” (37.5 cm) in height and rests upon a 10.2” (26 cm) base, weighing 5.58 kg. It is made of oxidized copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, adorned with hand-carved gemstones crafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes the sacred traditions of Himalayan Buddhism, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation spaces, or sacred collections.
The deity sits on a moon-disc lotus seat. A crystal rosary in the upper right hand represents the never-ending cycle of life, death, and regeneration.
